What to Expect
I work independently
• Flexibility is important to me
• By being fully independent I am not tied to the interests of another organization and am free to speak my mind, providing you with unbiased expert opinion
• I have learned how to grow and manage my own business, giving me better insight into what may be impacting yoursMy Hours
• I bill for the hours that I work, however, I understand that many organizations do not prefer the billing of overtime. I maintain another personal time tracker and if there is an overage, I will cap at 40 and then you will see me bill the carryover on a day that I am out of office to compensate for the missed time.
• You will find me always available, sometimes responding early in the morning or on the weekend. I am available whenever you need me.
• What I value most is flexibility – which may be an event with my daughter or attending a conference out of state. My focus is always on delivering success.
• Exercise and diet are important to me, and I target 3-4 workouts per week. I am most effective when I exercise just before lunch (11 AM).
• Please schedule meetings with me 48 hours in advance whenever possibleWork Location
• You will see me working at two primary locations! One is my home office, and another is my co-working location in downtown Minneapolis. • You are welcome to come visit me and use the office space that I have as well!
• My preferred work style is Hybrid. I enjoy facetime with your team, but I like to blend that with productivity at home. I am unable to support strict in-office schedules.
• I am not a frequent traveler but will periodically and may work from other locations depending on my schedule.
• The vehicle may be an office for me when I am in-transit and you will see my phone number joining the meeting!Social
• I enjoy attending your company organized events if you choose to invite me! This is a great team-building opportunity.
• Additionally, I am always open to quick after work events if we want to get to know each other more!Deliverables
• I will deliver what you need! I have seen many customers want me to produce the core project management documentation such as the RAID Log, Project Plan, Charter, and Budget documents.
• Additional deliverables unique to these projects can include a migration wave plan, licensing inventory, stakeholder list, communications plan, infrastructure mapping.
